NOTE:I have moved to the University of Zurich, Switzerland. My temporary homepage is
hosted here.
I am a postdoctoral scholar at Caltech
in Decision Theory and Neuroscience. I work with Peter
Bossaerts in his Neurofinance Lab (NeuFIL)
and John
O'Doherty in his Human
Reward Learning Lab.
I am interested in understanding decision making under uncertainty
in the human brain. My current research involves functional
magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to explore neural activity
during gambling tasks.
Before Caltech, I was an electrical engineer focusing on
the computation of electromagnetic fields. For a year, I worked
at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland,
where I designed superconducting magnets very similar to those
that I use for my research today.
