research
My research focues on studying the ways by which visual inputs are processed in the brain to create a conscious perception. The studies are conducted with human patients undergoing brain surgery to enable the research of the neural coding underlying our attention. In addition, I conduct eye-tracking studies with subjects with neurological disorders (autism, face blindness, amygdala lesion, agenessis of the corpus calosum, etc) to study mechanisms underlying emotions.
