This meeting is a small but very lively conference, attended by students,
post-docs and faculty associated with the existing Sloan-Swartz Centers at
Salk,
Caltech,
UCSF,
NYU,
Brandeis and
CSHL plus some
additional people.
The Sloan-Swartz Centers seek to train students and post-doctoral fellows
with a background in physics, mathematics and engineering to work in
experimental and theoretical neuroscience. Since the mid-90s, we are meeting
once a year.
