Proposal
Writing a proposal will require you to read up on a particular area/project (for possible topics, look at [topics]). It will also acquaint you with something you will have to deal with during your professional career: competing for funds by writing a short but brilliant proposal.

No collaboration on the grant proposals, please. You need to email the abstract and the full five page proposal in pdf format to Julien by the deadline (5/16 and 6/1 at 2:00 pm respectively). For more details, see the Proposal Guide.

You cannot hand in the proposal after Friday, June 1. at 2:00 pm. As with real proposals to government or private funding agencies, these are real, hard deadlines. Plan accordingly.
